Power of Attorney    ] Know all men by these presents that we Tirey
Tirey Robinson heirs ] Robinson, Jane Powell formerly Jane Robinson
       to            ] John Robinson and Nicholas Powell her husband,
 John Robinson       ] Polly Kulbeth, formerly Polly Robinson, &
William K, Kulbeth her husband, of the County of White & Territory of 
Illinois and Nancy Taylor, formerly Nancy Robinson and Henry Taylor 
her Husband and Elizabeth Kirksey, formerly Elizabeth Robinson of the 
County of Rhea and Nancy Robinson administratrix of the Estate of Mills 
Robinson deceased of Bledsoe County and State of Tennessee heirs at law 
of Tirey Robinson of said County of Rhea deceased do hereby constitute 
& appoint John Robinson of said County of Rhea who is also one of the heirs 
at law of the said Tirey Robinson deceased our attorney in fact for us 
and in our names together with himself to sue for and collect the value 
of a tract of land containing three hundred acres lying and being in the 
County of White and State of Tennessee conveyed by Anderson Wade to the 
said Tirey Robinson deceased which tract of land the said Tirey Robinson 
deceased lost by reason of said conveyance not being sufficient to
enable him to hold said land; hereby ratifying and confirming what 
ever our said attorney may lawfully do concerning the same, Witness 
our hands and Seals  this 28th day of August in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred and seventeen,

State of Illinois: This day personally appeared before me one of the
Gallatin County Justices assign to keep the peace for the County
aforesaid Ezekiel Smith and made oath that he saw Nicholas Powell and
Jane Powell, his wife and Tirey Robinson and Fancy Robinson his wife
Wm. K. Kulbeth and Polly Kulbeth his wife assign this power of
attorney. Sworn to before me this 29 day of October 1819.
