Show up the boundless and natural resources of East Tennessee, the garden spot of the South. This delightful and famous watering place is situated amid the grand old Emeral Hills and near the majestic range of mountains for which Western North Carolina and East Tennessee are so wel noted. It is on the banks of a beautiful mountian stream, being only fifty miles north of Chattanooga and withing two miles of Spring City. The climate of this region is remarkable ofr its dryness and purity, is entirely free from malaria is very bracing and exhilarating and exempt from prostrating heat even in mid summer. The scenery around Rhea Springs is truly grand and picturesque. The walks and drives are beautiful, and this is a favorite pastime with many visitors who come from the hot and crowded cities and who have been hedge in as it were all winter and spring. The grounds are beautifully laid off, comprising in the inclosure about ten acres with a carpet of smooth velvety lawn extending the entire distance in front and to the sides of the hotel building, with wide gravel walk for promenading and the whole shaded by giant trees of Nature's growth where lovely foliage reach out at the top and lap over each other thus affording a cool delightful breeze all times during the hottest days of summer.
