ROANE COUNTY, NC - BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH - Richard Wilson

I would like to contribute a photograph made in Rockwood, TN.  The name of the
photography studio looks like G. F. Steinwehr.  I'm trying to determine
approximately when the picture was taken, so I wonder if anyone knows when
that photography studio was in business in Rockwood.  It is labelled Richard
Wilson and was handed down through the Wilson/Swafford/Clark/Shamblin line.
Many of the dates below are estimated from census records.

Richard Wilson b. 1773--d. between 4 Jul 1860 and 1870 marr. Jane Burk b. 1801-
-d. between August, 1850 and July, 1860
Their daughter:
Martha Caroline Wilson 1828-1903 marr. Lawrence Swafford 1826-1906.  They were 
in Roane Co. at the time of the 1900 census, and Lawrence is included in the 
Goodspeed history of the county, so they must have been there also in 1886.  
They were in McMinn Co., TN, in 1880.
Their daughter:
Mary Ann Swafford b. ca 1848--d. between 1870 and1880 marr. Joseph P. Clark 
1846-1905
Their daughter:
Mary Bell Clark 1872-1956 marr. Henry Lee Shamblin 1866-1952

I don't think this photograph is the Richard Wilson born in 1773.

Richard also had a son named Richard, Jr., who was Martha Caroline Wilson 
Swafford's brother.  He was born circa 1829 and died after the 1860 census--
have not been able to find him in a census after that.

Richard, Jr., had a nephew, Richard Thomas Wilson, who was born in 1855 and 
died in 1915.

Richard, Sr., also had a gt.grandson named Richard J. Wilson born circa 1872, 
and I have no more information on him.

If I can find when the studio was in business, I may be able to determine 
which Richard Wilson is pictured.
