Cash William Tower J. W. Dickey Rev. Lowery P. N. Price —-——Belt T. K. Munsey Carroll Long William Bowers K. C. Atkins Brandon and Patty Jno. Y. Smith Rev. Lowery had a sleek, bald head, and during his preaching a sermon young John Davis, son of Dr. Davis, inquired in a loud voice, "Did the sheep eat the hair off that man's head" The inquiry produced some sensation. Jerry Lamb and Andrew McCulley led the Singing Schools that were in operation in 1850.
