JARED HOTCHKISS



   Jared Hotchkiss applied for revolutioary pension while living in Roane

County, Tennessee. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut and served in the

Connecticut line. He lived in Roane County and later in Loudon County, where he

died in 1838.



   Note: He married Betsy Knight who was born in Virginia and died in Loudon

County in 1842. They had six children among: C. M. Hotchkiss, born 1802, who

married in 1838 Sallie Ann Wyley. daughter of Harris and Artemus Taylor Wyley.
