Anderson KINGSTON, Tenn. -- William Albert (Andy) Anderson, 78, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II, attended Hiewassi and Furman Colleges, coached a girls basketball and baseball team and made many mission trips building homes. Andy was an avid golfer and bowler. He was preceded in death by stepson, Robert Berry. Survivors: wife Didi Anderson of Ten Mile, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Janne and David Dorsey of Bristol Tennessee; sons and daughter-in-law, George and Dale Anderson of Trenton, Fla., and Charles Andrew (Andy) Anderson and Irene Hilhea of Watertown, Tenn.; stepsons, Richard Dennis Berry of Knoxville and Bruce Barger of Clinton, Md.; stepdaughter, Kathy Trent, of Clinton, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church. The family suggest memorial donations to Shiloh Baptist Church Building Fund. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of arrangements.
