ROANE COUNTY, TN - WILLS - Isaac Tate, 12 Oct 1839 ----¤¤¤---- ISAAC TATE - DECEMBER TERM 1839 ESTATE BOOK C, PAGE 79 ROANE COUNTY, TENNESSEE Isaac Tate of the County of Roane and State of Tennessee, planter, do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. And, first I direct that my body be decently interred at Paint Rock meeting House is Roane County in a manner suitable to my condition is life and such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with. I dipose of the same as follows. First, direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible and of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come unto the hand of my Executors from any portion of ay Estate Real or personal. Secondly I give and bequeath here to my daughter Rebeca Felts one cow brute worth five dollars also my bed and beding and pot vessel and dresser. heir I give and bequeath to my daughter Marget Easter my mare and colt, corn oats and cattle, hogs and all the other property not named. heir I give and bequeath to my grandsons Andeson E. Easter and Madison M. Easter my land. I here insert each bequest to the and thereof. I do hereby make, ordain and appoint my esteemed neighbor and friend John Mann, and my beloved son Peter Easter Executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof Isac Tate, the said Testator have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this 12th day of October in the year of our Lord one Thousand 1839.
