GORDON hath given granted bargained and sold unto the said William W. GORDON a certain tract of land lying and being in the County of Robertson being part of the tract I now live on Beginning at a hickory running North fifty four poles thence west one hundred and seventy four poles to a hickory thence south one hundred and ten poles to a stake on Robert Gordons line thence east one hundred and eighteen poles with said line to a stake thence fifty one poles to a red oak thence fifty ___ poles to the beginning with all the wood waters minerals or hereditaments thereunto belonging or any___appertaining To have and to hold forever his heirs and assigns I bind myself my heirs executors and administrators forever to warrant and defend the same from all lawful claim or claims whatsoever. In testimony whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this the day and date above written In the presence of James DOSS Elisha WILLIS signed Alexander GORDON Robertson County Court November term 1826.
