GORDON 15 Dec 1826 529) This indenture made this the twenty seventh day of July eighteen hundred and tweny six between Robert GORDON of the one part and William W GORDON of the other part as Witnesseth that Robert GORDON for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & thirty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained & sold unto the said William W GORDON a certain tract or parcel of land lying and bounded as follows Beginning at a post oak being EDWARDS' marked South West corner running east sixty nine poles to a white oak on the bank of the Spring branch thence up the Spring Branch thirty degrees South of east thirty two poles to a sassafras thence west eighty five poles to a hickory on my own line thence to the beginning twenty seven poles with all the woods, waters, minerals or hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining which I the said Robert GORDON doth bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators forever to warrant and defend the aforesaid premises free and clear from the lawful claim of all and every person or persons lawfully claiming the same but unto the said William W GORDON his heirs & assigns forever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed by seal the day and date 530) above written In the presence of Elisha WILLIS James DOSS Robert GORDON, seal Robertson County Court November Term 1826 This indenture from Robert B GORDON to William W GORDON was proven in open Court by the oath of James DOSS and Elisha WILLIS subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be registered Test, Wm SEAL, Clk
