Daniel G BAIRD From William W GORDON

165) This indenture made this the 31st day of March One Thousand Eighteen 
Hundred and Thirty Two between William W GORDON of the County of Robertson and 
State of Tennessee of the first part and Daniel G BAIRD of the County and 
State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of 
the sum of one hundred and eighty dollars to me in hand paid to the said 
Daniel G BAIRD the receipt and payment whereof are hereby acknowledged hath 
given granted bargained & sold unto the said Daniel G BAIRD his heirs and 
assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of 
Robertson and State aforesaid and bounded as viz, Beginning at a red oak 
standing in the West end of the land and about fifty seven poles West of a 
hickory it being ___Beginning the corner of a tract of land which Alexander 
GORDON Senr gave to the said Wm W GORDON running West on his land eighteen 
poles to a stake thence south to the said Daniel BAIRDs line thence East with 
said line one hundred and ___poles to a stake thence north to the Beginning 
thence one tract or parcel of land Beginning on a white oak on the bank of 
Spring branch the south east corner of the said parcel of land that Andrew 
WASHINGTON deeded Robert B GORDON ___ the South of East thirty two poles to a 
sasafras thence West with said BAIRDs line eighty poles to a stake thence 
north twenty seven poles to a stake in EDWARDs line thence east with his line 
to the beginning Both tracts or parcels of land containing in all forty eight 
acres be it the same more or less To have and to hold the same unto the said 
Daniel G BAIRD his heirs and assigns forever and I the said William W GORDON 
bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators forever warrant and defend 
the before said tracts or parcels of land from the lawful claim of all and 
every person lawfully claiming the same unto the said Daniel G BAIRD his heirs 
and assigns forever In witness whereas I have set my hand and affixed my seal 
this day and
