William RAGSDALE and Mary ISBELL - Marriage Contract

229) Logan County State of Kentucky
Know all men by these presents that we William RAGSDALE Senr and Mary ISBELL 
of Robertson County and State of Tennessee have entered into the following 
contract (To Wit) that I William RAGSDALE Senr of Logan
330) County and State aforesaid have agreed and do hereby agree that the said 
Mary ISBELL of Robertson County and State of Tennessee may and shall forever 
hereafter have a right to dispose of all and singular the property she now 
possesses in any way she may see fit provided she and myself enter into a 
marriage contract or in other words the real or personal estate of said Mary 
ISBELL to be after marriage as completely at her own disposal as it is now and 
the said Mary ISBELL doth hereby agree with him the said William RAGSDALE that 
she will not by vesture of said marriage claim by vesture there of any part of 
parcel of the estate of said Wm RAGSDALE either real or personal but that we 
severally and jointly agree that we do hereby relinquish all right to the or 
interest on the property or estate of each other given under our hands and 
seals this 4th day of Febr 1812
