CHAMBERS Last Will and Testament In the name of God Amen I John CHAMBERS of Robertson County State of Tennessee Knowing it is allotted for all men to die and after that to Judgement I publish this my last Will and Testament. First as my loving wife has deceased and no one any right to inherit any of my worldly inheritance but my lawful Creditor and my lawful heirs therefore I wish my estate to be divided after the following manner: 1st/First I have gave to my daughter Fanny ADAMS seventy five dollars which has been paid to her. 2nd I have gave to my daughter Jane HENLEY one hundred and thirty three dollars. 3 I have gave to my son James H. CHAMBERS two hundred and nineteen dollars and ninety four cents. 4 I have gave my son Goolsberry CHAMBERS one hundred and ninety three dollars and sixty cents. 5 To my son Clement CHAMBERS eighty eight dollars. 6 To my daughter Elizabeth HENLEY eighty dollars. 7 To my son Hyram CHAMBERS I have gave one hundred and forty dollars and sixty four cents. 8 I have gave my daughter Mary JERNIGAN one hundred and thirty one dollars & sixty four cents. And I have further advanced by loaning money to Geo ADAMS the lawful interest the sum of one hundred and sixty one dollars & sixty seven cents which I add to the share of Fanny ADAMS which makes the sum of two hundred and thirty six dollars and sixty seven cents. Next and lastly I wish order my Executor to sell at public auction to sell all my real personal and perishable property on a twelve months credit or as my Executor may seem to them most advisable collect and distribute the same first pay all my just debts if any next pay to each of my heirs an equal share or moiety agreeable to what each one has had distributed and paid to them while living. Also give the share or moiety of my daughter Fanny ADAMS Deceased to her children severally as they become of age their proportional parts of five whole & share equally to be divided between them to be paid to them or their Guardians or Representatives agreeably to law. With the whole of the estate equally divided and paid to the rest of children before mentioned share and share. Next I appoint my son Clement CHAMBERS and Lemuel HENLEY my lawful Executors to execute this my last will and testament In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24 of March 1842.
