This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Sharon Smith sharon@axs4u.net ==================================================================== Robertson Co, TN Will Bk 12, pg 462 David J Walton DAVID J WALTON Letters of Estate State of Tennessee Robertson County Court September Term 1845 Whereas it appearing to the Court here that David J WALTON is dec'd and having made no will and testament and application being made by Vincent WILLIAMS to have Letters of Administration granted to him on the estate of said David J WALTON Deceased, he having given bond and security as by law in such cases are required by law Thereupon the Court ordered that he have Letters accordingly, These are therefore to authorize and empower you the said Vincent WILLIAMS to enter into and upon all and singular the goods & chattles lands and tenements rights and credits of the said D J WALTON Deceased and the same in your possession take whosoever to be found in this State and a time and perfect inventory thereof to make and return to our issuing Count Court on oath and all the just debts of the intestate so far as the State will amount or extend the residual thereof deliver to those who may have a right thereto by law Herein fail not.
