D. F. McCoy VS McCoy heirs
Rutherford County, Tennessee

In the above slated case, D. F. McCoy of Mechlenburg County in the State of 
North Carolina, appeared before the undersigned John A. Young, Clerk of the 
Superior Court of Mechlenburg County, it being a court of record and being 
sworn says as follows:
	I am the grandson of Martha McCoy who was a sister of John Henderson.  
My grandmother, Martha McCoy, I believe died in the year 1827.  She had six 
children, all of whom were alive at the time of her death and continued to 
live a number of years afterward.  They were: Lawson McCoy, John McCoy, Edwin 
McCoy, Mary McCoy, Violet McCoy and Henry McCoy, all of whom are not dead 
except Henry McCoy who now lives in North Carolina.
	Lawson McCoy had five children: James McCoy and Martha McCoy who now 
live in Texas, and Eli McCoy and Adaline McDoy who died without issue and Pink 
of whom I know nothing.
	John McCoy had three children: Mary who died without issue and Martha 
and John who now live in North Carolina.
	Edwin McCoy had eleven children, David F., John W., Marshall A. McCoy, 
and Coatesworth McCoy, and I. P. McCoy and Martha now the wife of David 
McCord, and Sarah now the wife of G. A. Todd and Margaret McCoy, all residents 
of North Carolina and ?Leyan? W. McCoy, a resident of S. Carolina, and William 
McCoy who died without issue, and James McCoy who died leaving one child, 
Julia McCoy who resides in North Carolina.
	Violet McCoy married William Williamson.  She and her husband are nod 
dead.  They had seven children: James, Wallace, John Williamson, and Susan, 
now the wife of David Wells, Mary Williamson & June now the wife of George 
Reid, and Margaret Williamson, all residents of Arkansas.
	Mary McCoy married Young Williamson.  She and her husband are dead.  
They had six children: James Williamson who is dead leaving three children to 
wit Robert, Mattie the wife of -------------, and Fanny the wife of Irwin 
Alexander and David Williamson who is dead leaving John, Landis, and Mary the 
wife of -----Smith, and Leyan Williamson-all residents of North Carolina-and 
John Williamson, a resident of Arkansas and Lee Williamson, a resident of 
South Carolina.
