Bottoms ==================================================================== Book O – Page 19 – No. 17 – 1821 John Chrisp, Sr. to William Chrisp – Bill of Sale Know all men by these present that I John Chrisp Senior of Rutherford County of the State of Tennessee have this day bargained, sold, and delivered unto William Chrisp of the County and State aforesaid one negro man named Peter and a negro girl name Rebecca for the consideration of eight hundred dollars to me in hand paid the title of which Negroes I will warrant and forever defend to him and his heirs forever, from all claim or claims of any person whatsoever. Given under my hand & seal this 11th day of August 1821.
