James Gibson of the County of Rutherford and State of Tennessee of the one part and Daniel Alexander of the county and state aforesaid of the other part; witnesseth that the said James Gibson for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Daniel Alexander, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, al[ ], [ ], conveyed & confirmed and by these presents doth bargain, sell, alien enfraff, convey & confirm, unto the said Daniel Alexander, his heirs... a certain tract or parcel of land lying situate and being in the County of Rutherford and State aforesaid on the waters of the west fork of Stones River and on the west side of the said west fork said bounded as follows, towit.
