This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Carole Gibson ==================================================================================== Book R, page 365: deed 100 acres; Samuel Gibson to William Gibson 1827-1828 This Indenture made this nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven, between Saml Gibson of the county of Rutheford and State of Tennessee of the one part and William Gibson of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollard in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath bargained, sold, aliened and confimed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien and confirm, unto the said William Gibson his heirs and ssignes forever all that tract or parcel of land lying & being in the county of Rutherford and State aforesaid, and on the waters of Bradley's Creek it being the place where the said Sam'l Gibson now lives. Beginning at the North East corner of the original survey at a Mulberry & Dogwood, thence South with the original boundary sixty poles to a stake, thence west two hundred and seventy pols to the original western boundary, thence north with said boundary sixty poles to the northwest corner, thence East with the north boundary to the beginning. Containing by estimation one hundred and one acres be thw same more or less, with all the appurtenances, and all the estate right, title, in trust property, claim and demand of him the said Sam'l Gibson, of in and to the same, to have and to hld the lands hereby conveyed....
