GREEN HILL
To}  Deed of Gift
JOHN HILL

This indenture made this seventeenth day of June one thousand eight hundred 
and twenty between GREEN HILL of the County of Williamson and State of 
Tennessee on the one part and JOHN HILL of the County of Rutherford and State 
of Tennessee the aforesaid GREEN HILL of the other part Witnesseth that the 
said GREEN HILL as well for and in consideration of natural love and affection 
which he hath and beareth unto the said JOHN HILL his son as also for the 
better maintenance and preferment of the said JOHN HILL have given and granted 
and by these presents doth give and grant unto the said JOHN HILL his heirs 
and assigns all that  misusage or tenement and piece parcel or tract of land 
situated and lying and being in the County of Rutherford on the waters of 
Hurricane Creek containing three hundred and thirty one acres bounded as 
follows,  to wit, beginning on the east boundary line of a six hundred, and 
forty acre tract of land granted to GREEN HILL by the State of North Carolina 
on a rock in the center between a Sassafras & black oak two hundred and six 
poles north of a ----- South East corner of said tract which is the beginning 
corner to said tract it being also the north East corner to ELIZABETH & NANCY 
REARDON running from thence west to a rock on the west boundary line to said 
GREEN HILL  six hundred and forty acre tract thence north pursuing the line of 
said original tract to the north west corner thence East with the line of said 
original tract to the North East corner of said original tract thence South 
with the line of said original to the beginning together with all and singular 
the appurtenances and hereditaments thereto appertaining or belonging.  To 
have and to hold the said  misusage or tenement and piece parcel or tract of 
land hereby Given and Granted and every part and parcel unto and for the only 
proper use And behalf of him the said JOHN HILL his heirs and assigns forever 
and the said GREEN HILL doth warrant and forever defend the aforesaid granted 
land and premises unto him the said JOHN HILL his heirs and assigns forever 
against all persons or persons claiming by or from or under him his heirs or 
assigns.   In witness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his 
seal this day & date first above written.
