All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/tn/tnfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Lynda Hill Clarke belle55@mindspring.com December 19, 2011, 6:18 am Written: June 17, 1820 GREEN HILL {Deed 417 THOMAS HILL This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred twenty between GREEN HILL of the County of Williamson and State of Tennessee of the one part and THOMAS HILL of the County of Rutherford and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said GREEN HILL as well for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and beareth unto the said THOMAS HILL his son as also for the better maintenance and pre------ of the said THOMAS HILL hath given and granted and by these presents doth give and grant unto the said THOMAS HILL his heirs and assigns all that misusages or tenements and piece, parcel or tract of land situated and lying and being in the County of Rutherford on the waters of Hurricane Creek containing three hundred and nine acres and bounded as follows, viz, beginning at a Ly---- the north East corner of NANCY & ELIZABETH REARDON being said GREEN HILLs beginning corner of said hundred and forty acres running thence North 206 poles to a rock the center of a Sassafras and black oak thence west 240 poles to a rock in said HILLs west boundary line then South 206 poles to the together with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereto appertaining or belonging; To have and to hold the said misusages or tenements and piece, parcel or tract of land hereby given and granted and every part or parcel thereof unto and for the only proper use and ------- of him the said THOMAS HILL his heirs and assigns forever and the said GREEN HILL doth warrant and forever defend the aforesaid granted and premises unto him the said THOMA HILL his heirs and assigns forever against all person or persons claiming by or from or under him his heirs or assigns.
