Bottoms ==================================================================== Book Q Page 448 No. 406 James Sanders to Nancy Jordan Deed, 225 acres This indenture made this third day of October, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty five by and between James Sanders of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee of the one part and Nancy Jordan of Rutherford County and State aforesaid of the other part; to descend agreeable to the will of Alexander Jordan deceased. Witnesseth, that the said James Sanders for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hat granted, bargained and sold, unto Nancy Jordan one certain tract or parcel of land lying in Rutherford County on the waters of Bradley’s Creek and granted to said Sanders by the State of Tennessee. Beginning at a dogwood & white oak near a sink-hole and corner to Lenorer, thence south with Murfrees line passing his corner in all one hundred and fifty five poles to several dogwoods in Mathews line near a sink-hole, East one hundred and fifty five poles to a white oak, ash & elm, north one hundred and fifty five poles to a dogwood, ash & elm in the old line of a range survey, thence west with said line to the beginning containing two hundred twenty five acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the appurtenance there belonging unto the said Nancy Jordan her heirs or assigns, and the said James Sanders his heirs and assigns doth warrant and forever defend the aforesaid bargained land and premises against the claim for claims of all persons whatsoever.
