To John McKee Jr.; 75 acres This Indenture made this first day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between John McKee Senr. of the County of Rutherford and State of Tennessee of the one part and John McKee Jr. of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him the said John McKee Senr. in hand paid by the said John McKee Junr., the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath given, granted, bargained and sold, conveyed and confirmed unto the said John McKee Jr., a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Rutherford and State aforesaid and on the waters of McKnights Creek of Stones River and bounded as follows. Beginning at an Elm in a Lane near a spring South west from the Dwelling House of the said John McKee Senr., thence South seventy five degrees East twenty six poles to a Double Hickory, thence South Eight Degrees west Sixty poles to a Sugartree, thence East twenty seven poles to a Rock, thence north twenty poles to a Redbud, thence East twenty poles to a Hickory & Chinquapin oak, thence north fifty seven poles to a chinquapin oak, thence East Eleven poles to a Chinquapin oak, thence north fifty seven poles to a large white oak, thence East twelve poles to an ash, thence north fifty one poles to a stake at the East End of a Lane, thence west fifty eight poles to a Hickory, thence north seventy six degrees West sixteen poles to a willow, thence west twenty six poles to an Elm, thence South sixty poles to a Rock, thence west twenty one poles to a Rock, thence South twenty three degrees East fifty six poles to the beginning. Containing seventy five acres more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land with all and singular the rights and profits to the same belonging or appertaining to the only proper use and benefit of him the said John McKee Junr., his heirs and assignees forever. And the said John McKee Senr. For himself, his heirs, executors & administrators do hereby agree to warrant and defend the said tract of land against the right, title, claim and interest of all and every person or persons whatsoever, to the said John McKee Junr., his heirs and assignees forever.
