Know ye, that in consideration of one cent per acre paid into the Entry Takers office of Rutherford County pursuant to an act of the General Assembly of said State passed 22nd November 1823, and the acts Supplemental thereto, and entered 19th January 1826 by No. 791. There is granted by the said State of Tennessee unto Ambrose McKee, a certain tract or parcel of land, containing Forty four acres by survey bearing date 16th March 1829, lying in said county, on the waters of Bradleyıs Creek. Beginning at a pawpaw A.M. McKeeıs NE corner, thence north with William Gibsonıs line thirty two poles to a Sugartree A. McKeeıs corner, thence west with his line one hundred and twenty eight poles to a white oak his corner, thence South thirty two poles to an Ash, thence west sixty two poles to two Ironwoods, thence South twenty six poles to a Cedar Creechıs corner, thence East one hundred and ten poles to a small Ash on A. M. McKeeıs line, thence north twenty six poles to a stake, thence East eighty poles to the beginning with the hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances to the said Ambrose McKee and his heirs forever. In witness whereof Newton Canon, Governor of the State of Tennessee, hath hereunto set his hand and caused the great Seal of the State to be affixed, at Nashville on the 2nd day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty six, and of the Independence of the United States the sixty first.
