1 Jun 1816 - Robert Smith to Simpson Sims, both of Rutherdford Co, and others for 
1 acre. This indenture between Robert Smith and Simpson Sims, Bowling Fisher, 
Samuel Richardson, Thomas Jarratt, Benjamin Ranson and Edmond Jones, Trustees for 
land in Rutherford Co whereon the Methodist Meeting House now stands containing 1 
acre, adj north side of road leading to Carrs Mill. Said land in trust for the 
use of the Methodist Episcopal Church as a church as long as they continue 
members of the said Methodist Episcopal Church. Reg: 27 Sep 1816
