McKee, 10 acres This Indenture made this [twentieth?] day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine between William Thomas of the county of Rutherford and state of Tennessee of the one part and John B. McKee of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars to him to him the said William Thomas in hand paid by the above John B. McKee the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given, granted, bargained and sold and confirmed unto the said John B. McKee a certain tract or parcel of land containing on hundred acres and lying and being in the county of Rutherford and State aforesaid and bounded as follows. Beginning at a Sugartree the South East corner of said William Thomas survey, thence North with his line one hundred and ninety one poles to a Sour oak and Cedar in James Sanderıs line, thence West with said Sanderıs line eighty three and eight tenth poles to an Ironwood and ash, thence South one hundred and eighty one poles to a small Hickory and pile of rocks on Iveyıs line, thence East eighty three and eight tenth poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the aforesaid land with all and singular the rights & appurtenances to the same belonging or any way appertaining to the only proper use & benefits of him the said John B. McKee hiss heirs & assignees forever and the said William Thomas for himself his heirs, executors and administrators, do hereby agree to warrant and defend the said tract of land and bargained premises against the right, title, claim and interest of all and every person or persons whatsoever to the said John B. McKee his heirs and assignees forever. In testimony whereof the said William Thomas hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year first above written.
