Wood; 114 3/4 acres This Indenture made the ninth day of December in the year of Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty four, by and between William Wilson of the one part, and Owen L. Wood of the other part, both of the county of Rutherford and State of Tennessee; witnesseth, that I the said Wilson do for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred and eighty seven dollars and fifty cents to me in hand paid by the said Wood, do bargain, sell and deliver unto the said Owen L. Wood a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the said county of Rutherford. Beginning and running as follows, to wit. Beginning at two cedars on the north bank of Bradleys Creek, running north 20 degrees west twenty eight poles to a chinquapin oak and Sugartree, thence north sixty degrees, west fifty six poles to a Walnut and red oak, thence north twenty two degrees, west thirty nine poles to a stake on the said Owen L. Woods line thence west with said Woods line west sixty three degrees South twenty nine poles to a white oak and Dogwood, thence west fifty four poles to a Cedar thence south one hundred and fifty poles to a Chinquapin oak, thence west eight poles to a Red oak, thence South thirty six poles to an ash on the north Bank of Bradleys Creek, thence South Eighty two degrees East thirty poles to a Stake on the Bank of the said Creek, thence north thirteen degrees East twelve poles to a Stake on the Bank of the Creek, thence up the creek with its various meanders one hundred and sixty three poles to the beginning. Containing by estimation one hundred & fourteen acres and three fourth be the same more or less. To have and to hold with all its woods, waters, improvements and every thing contained therein or appertaining thereunto. And I the said William Wilson do bind myself, my heirs executors or administrators to warrant and forever defend the right and title to the aforesaid land and bargained premises with all its appurtenances as aforesaid from all and every lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever unto the said Owen L.
