His name is on the 1832 list He was born about 1744 in Ireland and came to America when he was young. He was the son of William McKelvey. He enlisted in South Carolina in Captain Baldwin's company, Colonel Andrew Pickens' regiment, South Carolina Infantry. Note: He died in Rutherford County in 1834. He married Mary Mason.
