LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JESSE MULLINS 1842



In the name of God, Amen.  I Jesse Mullins of the County of Rutherford and

State of Tennessee being in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my

last will and testament.



First I will and direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid

as soon after my eath as possible out of any moneys that I may be possessed of

or may first come into the hands of my executor.



Secondly I will that all my property of every description whaterver be equally

divided between my wife Mary Ann and my two children John and Martha Jane to

them and their heirs forever.  If there should be any property that cannot be

equally divided without sale, I wish it to be discretionary with my executor

to act in any way that he thinks most advantagous to the legatees.



I nominate and appoint ___ Wade Executor to this my last will and testament, I

witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 2 day of Oct 1842.
