JOHN WILEY KING
1813-1941

This research,compiled by my Great-Aunt, Ina Alice Walker King, is posted in 
memory of my Father, Ray Foster, and my Mother Mary Rowena Tallent Foster, 
daughter of Lucy Ellen Walker Tallent.


John Wiley KING, son of Henry KING and Jane HEADRICK KING, was born February 
1, 1873, died July 2, 1941 and buried in Mattox Cemetery, Sevier County, 
Tennessee. On September 8, 1893, he married Nancy Elizabeth CAMERON, born 
January 28, 1875 and died May 24, 1940. She was the daughter of Mary HEADRICK 
and George CAMERON.

John KING and Elizabeth CAMERON KING built a home in Wear's valley where they 
raised their family. They had nine children, losing five under teen age and 
another in her senior year of high school. Three grew up to marry and have 
families of their own.
