Plumb Post No. 32, of the G.A.R. of Cashion, at the time of his death, he was one of nine surviving...(unreadable)...of whom were present to perform the last sad rites to their stricken comrade. A large crowd of sorrowing citizens and friends were present in spite of the bad weather to pay their respect to the deceased and to the bereaved family. With the death of Mr. Webb, another of Cashons's old residents passes from view. He was one of Cashion's most respected and highly honored citizens. He was a good Christian husband and father and will be greatly missed in the home, where he was so dearly beloved. Mr. Webb was well known to most of our readers and was well liked by all who knew him. He was quiet, grave and a true friend to all who knew him and the news of his death will be greeted with grief by many. The family has the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
