Last Will and Testament of William M. Roberts..

I, William M. Roberts of Melee in the County of Sevier and the State of
Tennessee being of sound mind and considering the uncertainty of life do
therefore make and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.

First, I order and direct that my Executor herein after named pay all my
just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may
be.

Second, after the said funeral expenses and debts - I give and bequeath unto
my children, Idah E. Roberts, Bertha A. Roberts, Chloe E. Roberts, Zora
Mahala Roberts and William H.G. Roberts - an equal distribution of the
proceeds of the interest I have in the store with my son, if there should be
any monies left after tombstone are purchased for my wife's grave and all
expenses and debts are paid off.

Third, I want all my personal property to remain on my farm for the use and
benefit of the above named heirs so long as they remain single or until they
have become of age. And when the youngest child, William H.G. Roberts,
becomes of age then the said personal property shall be sold and the
proceeds divided equally among all the heirs.

Fourth, I want all my lands consisting of my home farm and_____heirs until
my youngest child becomes of age and as soon as any heirs become of age she
shall be debarred from any proceeds that may be raised and said land or have
any use or control of said lands. And when the youngest child becomes of age
I want said lands to be equally divided among all my children: U.S. Roberts,
D.M. Roberts, T.L. Roberts, Carrie B. Brock, Flora Ann Catlett, Ida E.
Roberts, Bertha A. Roberts, Chloe E. Roberts, Zora Mahala Roberts and
William H.G. Roberts.

Lastly, I appoint U.S. Roberts my oldest son to be the Executor of this my
Last Will and Testament heeby revoking all former wills by me made. I
witness thereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the
18th Day of March, 1901.

This instrument was on this Day of the Date thereof signed and declared by
the said testator to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us
who at the request have subscribed our names thereof as witnesses in this
presence and in the presence of each other.
