The Will of John Williams State of Tennessee Sevier County Know all men by these presence that I John Williams of the county and State aforesaid a farmer being in good health and of Sound and Disposing Mind and Memory Do Make and Publish this My Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and as my Worldly Estate and all the property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease. I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit: 1st My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors hereinafter named by said out of my Estate as soon after my decease as shall by her be found convenient. I give devise and bequeath to my Beloved Wife Rachel Williams all my household furniture and all my cattle and horses and hogs and stock of all description whatever may be of mine and belonging to my Estate and also all of my Notes and Accounts that may be due me after my decease and all my land home place and all other land and premises and vacant land and all other whatever I may be possessed of whatever and all my farming tools I have and to have and to hold without any incomberance whatever without any interferance whatever by any person or persons whatever further more I Appoint my Wife Rachel Williams gardeen for my much beloved sons Nelson Williams an Idiot and to see that he is well taken care of and provided for out of the property that I gave unto his and I place in her hand for the protection and welfare of this support during this natural life and if my Beloved Wife should dy first before my son Nelson the property to remain unrevocable during his natural life time for his support and taking care of him and if she should dy first that she should have the power to in her lifetime to apoint a gardeen for my son after her death and controling the remain of the Estate during his life time but my wife to have full power during her natural lifetime with out any reservation whatever. Further more after the death of my wife Rachel Williams and my son Nelson Williams then the remains of the Estate if any remains thare of after all expenses as paid for support and funeral expenses whatever may accru during the lifetime if that shold be any remain be sold and the prosides (proceeds) equal divided amongst my lawful heirs further more I empower my wife Rachel Williams to sell any of said property reel or mixt if she consider it nesery (necessary) for suport that she is empowered to make a good and sufficient title tho I was to do the same my self and lastly I do nominate and appoint my belove wife Rachel Williams to be the executrix of this my Last Will and Testament in testamony whereof I the said John Williams have to this my Last Will and Testament contained on one Sheet of paper and the Last part thare of I have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the twelth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and seventy five.
