                                 CANTER CEMETERY

Directions:  Near Difficult, Smith County, Tennessee - Dean Hill Section of Baghdad
From Interstate I-40 take the Carthage/Gordonsville exit, and go north into Carthage.  Stay
on Hwy 25 through Carthage and turn right onto 80 North.  Turn right off of 80 North onto
85 (Defeated Creek).  From 85 turn right onto Little Salt Lick.  From Little Salt Lick turn
left onto Gladdice Road.  From Gladdice road turn left onto Dean Hill Road just before Baghdad
Church.  From Dean Hill Road, turn left onto Billy Hollow, there is an older, small, brick
house about 1/2 mile on the left which is the Kaiser Reece farm.  You will need permission
from the owner of this house to go onto his property.  Just past his house on the left is
a gate which is the entrance to his cow pasture.  Walk through to cow pasture to the top of
the hill and that is where the cemetery is located.  It is still maintained by family members
and is very well kept.
