This Indenture made this 30th day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen
hundred and twenty three betwen the heirs of John Lancaster Senr deceased of the
State of Tennessee Smith County of the one part, and Milton Ford, Wm. Coteville,
Walter Ford, John L. Ford, James Evans, Lucy Ford, and Nancy Ford, children and
heirs of Lewis Ford and Anna Ford his wife of the other part, Witnesseth, that
in as much as we believe that said John Lancaster Deceased intended that the
Tract of Land hereafter mentioned to go to the benefit of said Lewis and Anna
Ford's heirs, the reception of which the said heirs doth hereby acknowledge, and
relinquish their interest unto the s'd heirs of Lewis and Anna Ford a certain
tract of land lying and being in the county aforesaid, and bounded as follows,
to wit, Beginning a white and red Oak on the south side of Smiths fork and
running with Conrod Lamberson line south 160 poles to an Elm & Red-oak on said
Lamberson's line-thence East 108 poles to a Buckeye on Milton Ford's line-
thence with Said line North 150 poles to Smith's fork-thence up said creek with
its measured to the Beginning corner, containing 108 acres be the same more or
less.
In Witness whereof we have Set our hands, and affixed our Seals the day, and
date above written-Signed, and Sealed, and delivered in the presents of

Then the execution of this deed and bargain of sale from Richard Lancaster, R.A.
Lancaster, Thomas Lancaster, Rhoda Lancaster, John Lancaster, Mary Jackson, John
M. Lancaster & Sterling Hilton, to Milton Ford was duly proven in open court by 
the oath of Anson Springfield, and having heretofore been proven by the oath of
James A. Alexander, in this court on motion the same is ordered to be certifyed
for registration.
