Tenn., in 1825. He was then 72 years of age and therefore born in 1753. He enlisted in 1777 in N. C., in the company commanded by Captain Alsey High and the regiment commanded by Colonel Archibald Lytle. He received his discharge in December, 1777, in South Carolina.
