Began and held at Fellowship Meeting House Meigs County, Tennessee, on Friday, before the third Saturday in Sept., 1839, and following days. Athens, Tenn. Galloway gave the introductory sermon, from Daniel, second chapter, 44th verse - And in the days of these kings shall the God of Heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. - Then letters from twenty-eight Churches were read and the following accounts taken.
