Jones, H. Gibson, G.P. Owens, Jno. Huff, J.N. Davis; Concord, G. Ragland; Cave Creek, Stephen Mathews; Poplar Spring, H.W. Fritts, James Johnson; Short Creek, M. Zeiglar; and after consultation it was thought best, under existing circumstances, not to organize or attempt to do further business than to appoint our next annual meeting at Zion Meeting House, Rhea County, Tenn., commencing on Friday before the 4th Saturday in September, 1864, and notify the different churches of our Association of that fact, and Brother M.E. Jones to inform Fellowship, Hinds Valley, Grassy Cove, Sequatchie, Shilo, Paint Rock, Pleasant Hill, Hickory Creek, Smyrna, Little Emery, Beach Fork, and Mountain Fork. M.E. Jones to act as clerk, and reduce this to writing, to be presented to our next Association." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
