   A.C. Ewing appointed to write a letter to them, the following 
   Brethren, viz: Elder James Johnson, Bros. J.L. Waller, J.R. Holloman, 
   Wm Smith, J.L. Chastain, and A.C. Ewing, to bear same to said 
   Association when convened at Smyrna Church, Pickett County, Tenn., 
   second Saturday in September, 1895.

West Union Association - Elder Richmond Kennedy.
   Bro. W.R. Clack appointed to write a letter to them; 
   Elder P.R. Brown, Bros. J.R. Smith, G.W. Bailey, and A.N. Stinecipher 
   to bear same to Association when convened with the Buffalo Church, 
   Scott County, Tenn., Friday before the second Saturday in October, 
   1894.

Whereas a difficulty exists between the churches at Galyon's Gap and
Paint Rock, relative to the exclusion of Elder P.J. Parker by the former 
and his reception by the latter; ......"
They appointed a committee to look into the matter, both sides agreed 
that the report would be accepted by both sides as final and both 
churches were suspended until the matter was settled.  The Committee was 
to meet at the Sandy School House in Loudon County, Tenn., November, 
1894.
