OBITUARIES Ten Mile Church: Mary Ewing, wife of E.M. Ewing, who preceded her to the grave 6 months, liking 1 day, was born Dec. 5th, 1830; died March 8, 1910, age 79 years, 3 months and three days. Joined Shiloh 1856; joined Ten Mile 1884; married Oct., 13, 1853. Funeral conducted by her pastor, Wm. White. Fellowship: Cora Grubb, born Oct. 10, 1882, died Sept., 19, 1910, age 27 years, 11 months and 9 days. Joined Fellowship 1897. Elizabeth Dake, wife of Bro. Phillip Dake, was born Nov. 4, 1832, died Nov. 12, 1909, aged 77 years and 8 days. Joined Pisgah 1851, joined Fellowship 1878. Mahala J. Hornsby, formerly Brady, daughter of Farley Brady, one of the pioneer members of the old Hiwassee Association, was born Oct. 20, 1830, in Rhea county, Tenn., near what is now known as McElwee's Ferry. Married Benjamin M. Hornsby March 2, 1852. Joined Fellowship 1853. Died Aug. 25, 1910, aged 79 years, 10 months and five days. Her husband preceded her to the grave about 4 years. Survived by 5 sons. Mt. Zion: Randolf Gibson, born May 4, 1856, in Meigs County, Tenn., joined Mt. Sulphur 1883, joined Mt. Zion 1906, died Feb. 21, 1910. Concord: Mary A. Walker, wife of A.S. Walker, born May 7, 1844, joined Concord Sept. 1862, died July 14, 1910, buried in Edgmon cemetery, services by her pastor, Elder P.R. Brown. Husband and a friend. Mary L. Tilley, born March 4, 1836, joined Concord 1870, died Jan. 8, 1910. Elder Samuel Allen Waller, born near Union Cross Roads, Roane County, Tenn., Dec. 20, 1853, joined Macedonia 1872, licensed to preach 1887, ordained 1889. Married Miss Sarah Lee Holston about the year 1875. Seven children, 4 boys and 3 girls and all survive except the eldest son. Samuel died Dec. 26, 1909, at the age of 56 years and 6 days, buried on the 28th in the Glen Alice Cemetery. Services by Elders J.R. Smith and H.M. Hawk.
