John WARDEN his heirs or assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying & being in the aforesaid County of Stewart on Guices Creek it being a part of a five hundred acre tract of land formerly the property of Charles JOHNSON & Hardy VALENTINE beginning at a Dogwood, Atherington ROCHELS, North East Corner of his one hundred & Eleven acres tract of land then west one hundred and fifty four poles to a dogwood & Elm then South forty poles to a dogwood then North forty poles to a stake. VALENTINE’S north east corner of his one hundred acre tract of land then West one hundred & forty six poles to a stake in the West boundary line of above mentioned originally tract then North with said line forty nine poles to a stake in sd. line Lewis BROCK’S South west corner of his dirty acre tract then East with sd. BROCK’S line one hundred & twenty four poles to a stake the North Sixty five poles to a sweet gum in the original line of the five hundred acre tract then East with Lewis BROCK’S line two hundred & Seventy six poles to BROCK’S South East corner then South to the Beginning to include two hundred & thirty nine acres be the same more or less with all and singular the woods water watercourses profits & commodities whatsoever to the sd. tract of land belonging or appertaining & the reversion and reversions remainders and issues thereof and all the estate interest property claim and demand of him the sd. Martin WELLS his heirs & of in and to the same and every part & parcel thereof unto the said John WARDIN his heirs or assigns forever to have & to hold the sd. WARDIN his Heirs or assigns forever & the sd. WELLS a warrant and forever defend against the Lawful title claim and demand of all & every person or persons whatsoever in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Day & year first above written.
