Keyes Jan 25, 2005 Source: LDS FHL film #972705 State of North Carolina No 86 To all to whom these presents shall come greeting Know ye that we for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted paid into our treasury by Andrew Little have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the sd Andrew Little a tract of Land Containing three hundred acres lying and being in our County of Sullivan on the south side of Holsten river Begining at a black oak near the ri ver bank thence South eight west two hundred and sixty poles to three pines thence south seventy two East eighty four poles to a pine then North seventy east ninety to a pine and white oak near a Wag gen road thence North forty two East two hundred and six poles to two white oaks on the river bank thence down the river the several Courses and menders thereof to the Begining (Including an Island) As by the plat hereunto annaxed doth appear together with all woods waters mines minerals hereditaments and appur tenances to the sd Land belonging or appertaining to hold to the sd Andrew Little his heirs and assigns forever yealding and paying to us such sums of mony yearly or otherwise as our General Assembly from time to time may direct provided allways that the sd Andrew Little shall caus this grant to be registered in the registers office of our sd County of Sullivan within twelve months from the date hearof otherwise the same shall be void and of none effect In testimony whereof we have caused our great seal to be hereunto affixed Witness Alex Martin Esq our Govenor Capten general and Commander in Chief at Fair field the twenty third day of October in the seventh year of our Independence and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty two By his Excellys Com'd Ex'd Alex Martin J Glasgow Sec [Note: Sold to Jacob Flumer DB 2-461] ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
