Keyes Jan 26, 2005 Source: LDS FHL film #972706 State of North Carolina No 465 To all to whom these presents shall come greeting Know ye that we for & in consideration of the sum of fifty shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted paid into our treasury by Jacob Nedeaver have given & & granted & by these presents do give & grant unto the sd Jacob Nedeaver a tract of land containing one hundred & fifty acres lying & being in our County of Sullivan on both sides of Indian Creek Between Solomon Smiths & Valentine Littles Land including a fine mill seat thereon & a spring on Dry Run Begining at Matthias Littles line formerly Valen tine Littles & Patrick Creggons Corner pine tree thence along Creggons line South 25 deg'r west 50 poles to a pine tree then along sd line South 58 poles to Sd Creggons Corner pine then on Solomon Smiths line North 69 west 100 to his corner white oak then on Sd Smiths line South 56 deg'r west 94 poles to a stake then North 180 poles to a stake on Benjamin Webbs line then along Webbs line North 83 deg'r East 24 poles to a pine tree then along Sd line North 52 East 44 poles to a pine tree then South 52 East 54 poles to Matthias Littles Corner white oak then along Sd Littles line South 50 deg'r East 10 poles to the Begining as by the plat hereunto annexed doth appear together with all woods waters mines minerals hereditaments & appurtenances to the Sd land belonging or appertaining to hold to the Sd Jacob Nedeaver his heirs & assigns forever yielding & paying to us such sums of money yearly or otherwise as our general assembly from time to time may Direct provided always that the Sd Jacob Nedeaver Shall cause this grant to be Registered in the Registers office of our Sd County of Sullivan within twelve months from the date hereof otherwise the same Shall be void & of no effect in testimony whereof we have caused these our letter to be made pattent & our great Seal to be hereunto affixed witness Samuel Johnston Esquire our governor Captain general & Commander in Chief at fairfield the 10 day of July in the 13 year of our independence & in the year of our Lord 1788 By Com'd Samuel Johnston J.
