SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN - DEEDS - Solomon and John Smith to Henry Hysinger ----¤¤¤---- Sullivan Co., TN, DB 6, p. 494: Solomon and John Smith to Henry Hysinger Transcribed by Robert Keyes Feb 18, 2005 Source: LDS FHL film #972707 This Indenture made this 20th of February 1815 Between Solomon Smith and John Smith of the one part and Henry Hysinger of the other part each of Sullivan County and State of Tennessee Witnesseth that the said Solomon Smith and John Smith for a valuable consideration to them in hand paid by the sd Henry Hysinger the receipt whereof is hereby acknow= ledged by these presents have bargained and sold unto the said Hysin= ger and to his heirs &c forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and ten acres be the same more or less said land lying and being in the State and County aforesaid Viz Beginning at a White oak and Red oak, North thirty four East one hundred poles to two White Oaks thence thence South forty five East twenty poles to three White oaks, thence along Colpohs line North sixty five East one hundred and twenty poles to two White oaks and a Red oak, North thirty nine West one hundred and seven poles to two White Oaks, South forty one West one hun dred and twenty six poles to a White Oak, South fifty seven West one hundred and thirty eight poles to a Stake thence a direct line to the Beginning To have and to hold the said bargained and Granted premises unto the said Henry Hysinger and to his heirs &c forever and we the said Solomon Smith and John Smith for our selves &c do warrant and forever defend every part and parcel of the above mentioned land with its appurtenances unto the said Henry Hysinger and to his heirs &c forever against the lawful claim and demand of any person or persons whatsoever In Witness whereof we the said Solomon Smith and John Smith have hereunto set our hands and seals the date above Signed Sealed and delivered in pre sence of { Solomon Smith (seal) State of Tennessee Sullivan County } February Session 1815 The execution { John Smith (seal) of the within Deed was acknowledged in open Court by Solomon Smith and John Smith party thereto Let it be Registered Matthew Rhea Clerk of the Court of pleas &c of Sullivan County By his Deputy Matthew Rhea Reg Feb 28th 1815 ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
