Keyes Jan 12, 2005 Source: LDS FHL film #972705 This Indenture made this third day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety between Christian Weaver of the one part & Jacob Weaver of the other part both of the County of Sullivan & State of North Carolina Witnesseth that for & in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred Pounds Currant money of sd State to him the sd Christian Weaver well & truly in hand paid at or before Sealing & delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the sd Christian Weaver doth hereby acknowledge have bargained & Sold in fee Simple & Confirmed unto the sd Jacob Weaver his heirs Ext's Adm's & assigns for ever one certain tract or parcel of Land containing two hundred & sixty acres lying & being in our County of Sullivan on the South side of holston River part of the tract of Land that Mi chael Weaver now lives on begining at two white oaks & Dogwood near the River runing thence South sixteen degrees West forty six poles to a white oak South thirty five West fifty two poles to three white oaks South forty two East one hundred & forty one poles to a hickory north sixty six East eighty six poles to a white oak South forty East sixty poles to a white oak North four East one hundred & sixty four poles to a white oak North forty West two hundred t& wenty eight poles to wo, on the bank of the river & down the meanders of the River to the beginning together with all houses fences ways water water courses orchards & all other apper tenances thereunto belonging with all rents reversions of rents & other the Estate right title that may now or for ever after appertain to the same free from all hindrance of any person whatever Lawfully claiming the same to have & to hold all & singular the aforesaid Land & premises with every part & parcel thereof from all incumbrance of Mortgage dower rever sions by or from me the sd Christian Weaver or any other person or persons whatsoever & to be to the only use of him the sd Jacob Weaver his heirs Ext'r Adm'r & assigns forever & Lastly the sd Christian Weaver hereby promise Covenant Agree to & with the sd Jacob Weaver his heirs Ext'r Adm'r & assigns that I have full & the only right title & Lawfull authority to sell & con vey the afores'd Lands & will at any time at the reasonable request & proper charges of him the sd Jacob Weaver make any other Conveance or assurance that shall be by Law required to pass the fee Simple Estate of the afforesaid Land & premises from me the sd Christian Weaver to him the sd Jacob Weaver his heirs Ext'r Adm'r & Assigns for ever In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand & affixed by Seal the day & year above writ ten Signed Sealed and delivered his Christian X Weaver (seal) In the presence of us mark Alexander Mcginty Sullivan Court March Session 1790 the within deed was acknowledge by Christian Weaver Math'w Rhea C.C.
