Know ye that we for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty shillings forevery hundred acres hereby granted paid into our treasury by George Webb have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the sd George Webb a tract of land Containing six hundred and thirteen acres lying and being in our County of Sullivan on Bever Creek Beginning at a Black walnut on the Creek on Wallaces line thence along his line north fifty two East ninety pole to a hickory then south foure East Eighty pole to a poplar on Hawkins line then along his line south fifty one west four hundred and fifty six pole to a red Oak on a hill then due West two hundred and six pole to a red oak then North one hundred and Eighty pole to two white oaks on the Creek then up the Creek two hundred and six pole to a poplar on Nathan Lewises line then along his line North seventy six East one hundred and foure pole to a white oak then North twenty seven East Eighty four pole to a black oak on sd Creek as it meanders to the Begining. As by the plat hereunto annaxed doth appear together with all woods waters mines minerals heredetamints and appurtenances to the sd land belonging or apper taining to hold to the sd George Webb his heirs and assigns forever yealding and paying to us such sums of money yearly or otherwise as our general assembly from time to time may direct Provided allways that the sd George Webb shall cause this grant to be regestered in the Registers office of our sd County of Sullivan within twelve months from the date here of otherwise the same shall be void and of none effect. In testimony whereof we have caused these our Letters to be made pattent and our great seal to be hereunto affixed.
