The State of Tennessee Number 2069
To all to whom these presents Shall Come Greeting  Know ye that 
in Consideration of an Entry made in the office of the Surveyor of the 
Sixth District of Number 462 founded on a warrant of Number 
149 issued by the Commissioner of East Tennessee to John Nave? 
for two hundred acres of land dated the Sixth day of July 1808 Entry 
dated the third of March 1810 which warrant issued by Jacob 
Knave Representative of John Knave to Samuel J Balch and 
by him to Isaac and William Brownlow and by them to John 
Mcorkle and twenty seven acres are assigned by said Mcorkle 
to George Webb the Enteror there is Granted by the said State 
of Tennessee unto the said George Webb and his heirs a cert
=ain Tract or parcel of Land Containing twenty seven acres 
lying in the County of Sullivan in the District of Washington 
Begining at a hickory and three Spanish oak saplings on 
the side of a hill thence north twenty four west fifty six poles 
to two white oaks and a walnut on or near Benjamin Webbs 
line then running contegeous with the same North sixty two 
East one hundred and Eleven poles to two hickorys and a 
white oak then South twenty four west twenty five poles to a 
poplar and spanish oak thence a direct line to the beginning  
Surveyed June 4th 1810 with the hereditaments and appurtanan
=ces to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with 
its Appertainances to the said George Webb and his heirs 
forever in Witness whereof Wille Blount Govnor of the State 
of Tennessee hath hereunto Set his hand and Caused the Grate 
Seal of said State to be affixed at Knoxville on the twenty 
ninth day of october in the year of our lord one thousand eight 
hundred and eleven and of Americans independence the 
thirty sixth, by the Govnor      Wilie Blount

George Webb is Intitled to the within Discribed Tract of

[Note: This parcel was sold by Sherriff to Wm Carter (see DB 6, p. 488) 
after George's death and later sold by Wm Carter to Nicholas Mottern 
in 1820 (see DB 9, p. 140)]
