CLOVER BOTTOM, June 16.- Work on the dam at the top of the mountain is progressing rapidly; a large crew are at work. The pipeline from the dam to Kingsport is being staked off . this week. When the work is completed Kingsport will have a supply of pure mountain water. Chas. Hillard was in Kingsport one day this week. Mrs. Maude Ellis has recently been the guest of her father, J.N. Dolan. Messrs. Caldwell & Pyle of Kingsport have been transacting business her this week. Dr. and Mrs. R.K. Bailey have returned from a visit, with relatives in Greene county. Rev. Walker and Prof. E. C. Hicks were visitors from Sulphur Springs the past week. S. P. Steadman went to Kingsport Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Ketron of Bloomingdale were visiting their sister, Mrs. S.P. Steadman, recently.
