ACCIDENT RESULTS IN AMPUTATION OF HIS LEG

Willard Jenkin, an employee of the Stinchfield Cement Corporation,

underwent the amputation of his right leg below the knee Wednesday

as the result of an accident in the crusher of the plant Tuesday, when
his foot was crushed. he was taken to the Kingsport hospital, where his
condition is said to be satisfactory.
