He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Grant; and a brother, Paul Grant of New Jersey. Survivors include mother and stepfather, Juanita Ann and Hobart Grant of Bluff City; sisters, Phyllis Lingerfelt of Bluff City and Delores Bushong of Bristol Tennessee; brother, Randy Grant of Chuckey, Tenn.; stepbrother, Ernie Pilkin of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Crumley Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include Justin Grant, Dave Poe, Wade Necessary, Lee Grant and Johnny Necessary.
