SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Louise Helton, 23 Mar 2005 ----¤¤¤---- Louise Helton, 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at her residence. Born in Mountain City, Tenn., Louise had lived most of her life in Blountville. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Helton; her parents, Wiley and Ora Smith; a brother, Ernest Smith; and a sister, Ethel Walker. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, W.R. "Russ" and Dreama Helton, Blountville, and Ray and Donna Helton, Kingsport; her grandchildren, Emily Timbs and her husband Matt, Katheryn Helton, Brandon Helton and Amy Helton; a great-grandson, Caleb Timbs; and four sisters and three brothers-in- law, Opal Douglas, Kingsport, Kathleen and Bill Davidson, Nashville, Trilla and Harold "Buddy" Little, Elizabethton, and Sue and Malcolm Howard, Mountain City. Several nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Helton were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Carter-Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe W. Byrd officiating. Scripture reading was by Emily Smith Timbs. Music was provided by Trilla Smith Little. Interment followed at East Lawn Memorial Park.
