Hill Stanley Gordon "Stan" Hill, 52, of Bristol Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Stan was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Oneida, Tenn., a son of the late Grover Cleveland Hill and Opal Trammell Hill, who lives in Winfield, Tenn. Stan was employed in management by Orkin Pest Control. He is survived by his wife, Carol Browne Hill; three daughters and son-in-law, Samantha (Sam) Horn and husband Kenneth of Blountville, Jennifer Hill of Bristol and Christine Hill of Chicago; a son, Clint Hill of Chicago; his mother, Opal Hill of Bristol; and a sister, Phyllis Hill of Chicago. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Saturday April 5th at the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with a eulogy given by Butch Thress. Burial followed at the East Lawn Memorial Park.
